Abstract: | Correspondence regarding the aftermath of the 1974 railway strike and its impact on workers; Letters and testimonies between 1977-1979 mention continuing discrimination against those who participated in the strike with regards to wage increments, non withdrawal of criminal cases. Union letters try to estimate the number of such employees across India. There are letters from AIRF to Railway authorities and the Railway minister to lift penalties and withdraw cases and respect right to unionise. |
